Security Officer/ EMS Responder

Essential Functions:

Assist in transporting assets, money, chips, tokens and markers. Control access to restricted areas. Check for and report safety hazards, react to guest and employee incidents and accidents. Monitor guest and employee passage in and out of casino according to company policy and state laws. Interview patrons or employees when responding to and administering emergency treatment. Administer basic first aid treatment, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Maintain certifications in these areas. Complete necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. Enter data into computer to maintain records.

Required:

Ability to effectively use a hand held radio, flashlight, computer, phone, camera, motorized carts, medical supplies, wheelchair and computer database. Ability to write and type reports. Ability to read and understand company forms and reports. Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and co-workers regarding safety and emergency procedures. Ability to investigate and write reports. Ability to accurately count inventory items. Knowledge or ability to learn CPR, basic first aid, use of AED equipment, and universal standards for exposure to blood. Must have a valid Drivers License
