Hour Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 06:00 PM - 02:00 AM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00

PM How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:

In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location. Respond to incidents, campus-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting details as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and observe people and property throughout the location, reporting suspicious activity, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts. Support students, staff, visitors, and faculty by offering directions, answering questions, and assisting with security-related requests in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet. Possess customer service experience. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
