Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and employees by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, managing entry and exit activity, and supporting security-related response activities when appropriate. Monitor access points, gates, and visitor processing areas at a logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized entry, document arrivals and departures, and communicate clearly with site contacts regarding security-related concerns. Respond to incidents, delivery issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters as needed and completing required reports related to security-related events, access activity, and/or policy violations. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured access points, and operational concerns that may impact site procedures or security-related operations.Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. X-Ray screening experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
