AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, drivers, and staff by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, document arrivals and departures, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas. Respond to incidents, delivery disputes, alarm conditions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter zones, with attention to unusual activity and/or site policy violations. Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, truck and trailer activity reports, and other required documentation to support daily operations and security-related awareness.

Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older. A guard card or license is preferred. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
