Security Officer in Financial Services! 💼 ON-SITE Our client, a leading firm in the banking sector, is seeking a seasoned Security Officer to assist the COO in managing information security and deposit operations across all bank locations. This is a pivotal role that combines leadership in security program management, vendor oversight, and risk assessment to protect the bank's assets and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support COO in information security administration and deposit operations.
• Manage the bank's IT information security program.
• Oversee and enhance the vendor management program.
• Educate employees on current and emerging information security risks.
• Conduct risk assessments to guide education for customers, employees, and the board.
• Support IT audits and regulatory exams.
• Perform business impact analysis aligned with the Business Continuity Plan.
• Assist in facilities management for all bank locations.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in bank operations or IT with strong knowledge of networking, hardware, and software risks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Office applications.
• Basic understanding of IT auditing procedures.
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM or similar.
• Graduate of Community Bankers School or equivalent is a plus.
