PM How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts'): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:

In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related responsibilities appropriate to a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency services when needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, document observations and incidents, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contacts. Support daily property operations by assisting with visitor directions, answering routine questions, and following emergency response activities and post orders as outlined for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess 1+ years of security-related experience. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
