AM How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts'): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:

In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related issues. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and communicate with staff and/or local authorities as needed regarding security-related matters. Support the location's daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing clear directions, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or access control concerns that could impact security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
