AM How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts'): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:

In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a dynamic technology-focused location. Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries at designated entry points while following access procedures, identification checks, and screening protocols. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Monitor entrances, lobbies, and/or screening areas for unauthorized access, policy concerns, and other security-related issues that could help to deter disruptions. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, noting suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns within varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. X-Ray screening experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
