Job Description As a Security Officer Screening Patrol in Sunnyvale, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with local authorities and/or site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefront areas, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, observe customer and employee activity, and document security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior according to site guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
