PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel. Support loss prevention and closing or opening procedures by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with crowd and line management, and following post orders for assigned areas.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
