Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Seed House/Loader Operator and become a vital part of our agricultural and food production operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading, unloading, and managing seed and raw materials within the seed house. Your expertise will ensure smooth handling of materials, support manufacturing processes, and maintain safety standards across the facility. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment, operate forklifts, and contribute to the quality of our food production and farming initiatives. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and loaders to move seed, grain, and raw materials safely and accurately within the seed house. Load and unload trucks, tankers, or containers with precision, ensuring proper handling of materials for food processing or farming needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the seed house area to promote safety and efficiency. Assist with inventory management by recording material movements and verifying quantities during loading operations. Support manufacturing or food processing lines by supplying raw materials as needed to ensure continuous production. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards. Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to uphold a safe working environment. Requirements Mechanical knowledge with experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, tankers, or other industrial machinery. Prior experience in manufacturing, food processing, farming, or agriculture environments is highly desirable. Valid forklift certification; commercial driving license (CDL) or tanker endorsement is a plus. Strong understanding of food production processes or farming operations is beneficial. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Excellent attention to detail for inventory management and safety compliance.
