In this vital role, you will leverage your nursing expertise and physiology knowledge to conduct comprehensive patient assessments, ensuring accurate medical documentation and records. Duties Perform detailed assessments of patients' physical and mental health status, utilizing your nursing skills and anatomy knowledge. Collect and document medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant health information with precision and adherence to HIPAA regulations. Apply your physiology knowledge to evaluate symptoms and identify potential health concerns during assessments. Maintain accurate, thorough medical documentation and records in compliance with healthcare standards and privacy laws. Communicate assessment findings clearly to physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to support diagnosis and treatment planning. Ensure all patient interactions are conducted with compassion, professionalism, and respect for patient privacy and confidentiality. Stay current with medical terminology updates and best practices in nursing assessment procedures. Qualifications Valid RN license with current registration to practice nursing in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience in patient care, preferably involving assessments or clinical evaluations. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for accurate assessments. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and the importance of maintaining strict confidentiality of medical records. Excellent skills in medical documentation, record keeping, and detailed note-taking. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams in a professional manner.
