Job Description Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant to support our Corporate Accounting team. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supporting the close process, and contributing to key accounting operations. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, hands-on system experience, and a detail-oriented mindset.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP and company policies Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies Support the month-end and year-end close processes Maintain and improve reconciliation processes using BlackLine Work withinSAP S/4HANA
to manage and analyze financial data Assist with corporate accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance and reporting Process and review payroll-related accounting entries and postings Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and analysis Identify opportunities for process improvements and automationQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment Strong knowledge of journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger processes Hands-on experience withSAP S/4HANA
Experience with BlackLine or similar reconciliation tools Solid understanding of payroll accounting processes and postings Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Skills:
Experience in large or publicly traded organizations Exposure to process improvement initiatives or system implementationsSimilar remote jobs
