Job Description

Our client is seeking a strong finance professional to oversee critical accounting operations across multiple international regions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-moving environment and brings a hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong focus on operational performance and continuous improvement. This is a hybrid enviroment, employee focused company with growth potential. Core Responsibilities Manage and coordinate month-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across regional and functional areas. Oversee international financial operations and reporting activities, including areas such as payroll, expense management, cash accounting, corporate card activity. Coordinate intercompany accounting activities, including reconciliations and transaction processing. Provide accounting support to the US, including accruals, purchase order administration, employee expense reporting, and special projects as needed. Prepare and review monthly financial statements and management reporting packages to support business decision-making. Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and maintain integrity of financial records. Partner with internal and external auditors during annual audits and statutory reporting cycles. Collaborate with tax teams on direct and indirect tax filings, compliance, and reporting obligations. Work closely with FP&A teams during budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes. Support optimization initiatives related to ERP platforms, reporting tools, workflows, and financial procedures. Ensure reporting deadlines are met while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reporting quality. Recommend and implement process enhancements that improve reporting accuracy, automation, and operational effectiveness. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required. Professional accounting certification (CPA, CPA track or equivalent) preferred. Experience in accounting and financial reporting within a multi-entity or international environment. Experience applying accounting standards including
US GAAP, IFRS
(preferred), and local statutory requirements. Hands-on experience with ERP systems; exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 is advantageous. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets and financial models. Exposure to global business operations and cross-border accounting practices is beneficial not required. Prior experience within manufacturing or product-based industries is considered an asset. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and seniority levels.
