job summary: Join a global, family-owned pharmaceutical leader at their state-of-the-art research hub. This is a high-impact, 2-year contract opportunity for a dedicated researcher to drive breakthrough discoveries in heart and kidney health. As a Scientist II, you will be a vital contributor to a pipeline targeting cardio-renal-metabolic dysfunction, bridging the gap between innovative theory and life-saving medicine.

Ridgefield, Connecticut job type: Contract salary: $40.00 - 42.30 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors responsibilities:
Study Leadership:
Independently lead routine studies and validate rodent models for cardio-renal-metabolic dysfunction.
Technical Expertise:
Troubleshoot complex laboratory equipment and execute precise physiological assays.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with pathology and bioanalytics teams to ensure high-quality data translation.
Data Integrity:
Manage and analyze complex datasets to influence the next generation of therapeutic advancements.
qualifications:
Experience:
3+ years of relevant laboratory research experience in a professional or academic setting.
Education:
Master's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (

This is a non-PhD opportunity).
Technical Skills:
Proven expertise in rodent model handling and physiological research related to cardiovascular or metabolic health.
Traits:
Strong troubleshooting skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work independently within a world-class R D organization.
