Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time Senior Accountant who is a licensed CPA in the State of New Jersey to join our dynamic public accounting firm. This is an office-based role with flexible scheduling options to support work-life balance. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in tax preparation, audits, and accounting services, along with strong client service skills and the ability to manage complex, multi-state, and international engagements. Job Duties Prepare tax returns for individuals, all types of business entities, gift & estate tax filings, and non-profit organizations. Prepare multi-state tax returns for both businesses and individuals. Handle international tax compliance matters. Conduct financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations. Perform audits of 401(k) plans and other pension plans. Represent clients in audits with the IRS and state tax authorities. Manage sales tax and payroll tax compliance. Provide comprehensive accounting services to clients. Requirements 4-6 years of experience in a U.S. public accounting firm, with exposure to diverse audits, tax, and accounting functions. Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in the State of New Jersey. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset.
