Job Description:

Overview Our client is a rapidly growing real estate company that is looking to bring on a Senior Accountant i n a newly-created role. This individual will get involved with all aspects of the month-end close and be given a portfolio of commercial properties to handle. What you'll do Own the full-cycle accounts payable process including invoice processing, vendor management, approvals, and timely payment runs Support month-end close activities including AP accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis Operate Yardi for AP, GL, and reporting workflows across a portfolio of commercial and industrial properties Assist with payroll processing and ensure accuracy and timeliness across pay cycles Collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure clean and accurate financials Identify and implement process improvements to streamline AP workflows and increase efficiency What we're looking for 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally in real estate or property management Hands-on Yardi experience is a MUST Self-starter who thrives in a fast-scaling, lean startup environment Strong attention to detail and comfortable owning a function independently Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance preferred
