Senior Accounting Manager

Position Summary:

The Senior Accounting Manager will play a critical role in the daily accounting operations of the College and operational decision-making. This role will ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting and provide effective management of accounting processes. Working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, the System Senior Accounting Manager will lead a team of four, managing priorities with attention to detail while ensuring the highest level of customer service across the College. Key Responsibilities Lead accounting personnel Coordination and oversight of the annual financial audit Completion and review of balance sheet reconciliations to ensure proper accounting and analysis Management of the college's accounts payable and cash functions including all check runs and multiple cash accounts Oversight of state sales tax recording and filing Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested Promote a culture of transparency, collaboration, and service within the Finance organization

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting required 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or related experience, with at least 3 years in a management role Excellent communication and management skills Intermediate to advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to work effectively in a flat organizational structure, building partnerships and influencing without heavy hierarchy

Salary:

$115,000 - 125,000 per year Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate of the base pay for this position.
