About the Company We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Project Engineer to lead the design, integration, implementation, and commissioning of complex industrial automation systems. This role will support large-scale automation initiatives involving controls systems, robotics, material handling equipment, and cross-functional engineering coordination within a fast-paced industrial environment. About the Role This opportunity offers exposure to high-visibility automation projects, collaborative engineering teams, and long-term growth within an evolving automation-focused environment. Responsibilities Lead automation and systems integration projects from concept through commissioning and startup Coordinate mechanical, electrical, controls, and software integration activities Manage project schedules, vendors, OEMs, contractors, and technical stakeholders Support PLC, HMI, and SCADA-based automation systems including troubleshooting and optimization Oversee installation, testing, startup, and commissioning of automated systems and equipment Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve system reliability and performance Participate in customer-facing meetings, project reviews, and technical discussions Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and aligned with operational goals Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives across automated environments Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, or systems integration Required Skills Strong knowledge of PLC platforms such as Allen Bradley/Rockwell or Siemens Experience withSCADA, HMI
systems, industrial networking, and system troubleshooting Background supporting robotics, conveyors, AGVs/AMRs, automated material handling, or manufacturing automation systems Proven experience managing complex technical projects and multiple stakeholders Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills Distribution, warehouse, or fulfillment automation Manufacturing or capital equipment environments Commissioning/startup leadership experience Customer-facing engineering or multi-site project support Experience working with system integrators, OEMs, or highly automated facilities Pay range and compensation package This opportunity offers exposure to high-visibility automation projects, collaborative engineering teams, and long-term growth within an evolving automation-focused environment.
