Job Description:
SENIOR BIM TECHNICIAN
Our client is a high-growth organization ($50M+ Revenue) currently scaling their operations following a series of major contract wins. Specializing in large-scale technology integration for iconic sports and entertainment venues, they are seeking a highly skilled Senior BIM Technician to lead the modeling efforts for complex, multi-party construction projects.
ROLE INFORMATION
Compensation:
$85,000 - $90,000 (Hourly equivalent)
Structure:
Contract-to-Hire Location:
Garland, TX (100% On-site)
Schedule:
Flexible Start (8:00 AM - 9:30 AM), 40 Hours/Week
ROLE SPECIFICS
In this critical position, you will lead the integration of sophisticated technology components (Network, AV, Security, and
DAS/WIFI
) into complex 3D construction models. This isn't just drafting; it is high-level coordination within intelligent models to ensure seamless installation in massive stadium environments.
Lead Modeling Efforts:
Utilize Revit and Revizto to integrate technology components into multi-party construction models.
Clash Detection:
Participate in BIM sessions to proactively identify and eliminate system clashes before they reach the field.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Network Engineers for device placement and Mechanical Engineers to integrate custom brackets and enclosures into architectural families.
Model Management:
Maintain standards for geometry, materials, equipment data, and installation details.
QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced BIM Expertise:
Mastery of 3D modeling environments (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or BIM 360).
Tech Integration Experience:
Proven background in modeling Low Voltage, Telecom, DAS/WiFi, or AV/Security systems.
Industry Knowledge:
Experience with large-scale projects (Stadiums, Arenas, or similar complex structures) is highly preferred.
Professionalism:
Ability to represent our client in multi-party coordination meetings with architects and prime contractors.
CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work 100% onsite in Garland, TX. Willingness to undergo a comprehensive 10-year background check. Strong analytical skills to interpret equipment data and dimensions within a digital twin environment.
