Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Caregiver to join our team and provide exceptional care to individuals in various settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home & community environments. As a Senior Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you serve by delivering personalized care with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your energetic approach will help create a warm, supportive atmosphere where residents feel valued, safe, and cared for. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor patient health by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature; observe and report any changes in condition promptly Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal service to promote proper nutrition Maintain cleanliness of residents' living areas through regular cleaning routines to ensure a safe and hygienic environment Support residents with memory care needs, including those with Alzheimer's or dementia, through engaging activities and attentive supervision Document care activities thoroughly in compliance with healthcare standards and assist in developing or updating personalized care plans Skills Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments Strong knowledge of patient observation, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts; physically capable of supporting residents' mobility needs Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with team members, residents, families, and healthcare professionals Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy at all times Join us as a Senior Caregiver if you're passionate about providing energetic, heartfelt support that truly makes a difference.
