Description
Responsible for preparing congregate and home-delivered meals for Senior Center participants in accordance with program regulations, guidelines, and schedules. Cleans and maintains kitchen and equipment as directed by the Senior Center Program Coordinator.
Requirements
Prepare required congregate and home-delivered meals daily in accordance with program regulations and guidelines.
Prepares food accurately to produce a high-quality outcome.
Uses supplies, time and equipment effectively.
Assist in daily cleaning and sanitation of kitchen and equipment.
Properly prepare frozen meals and store leftover foods.
Assist kitchen staff in all aspects of kitchen operations.
Maintain food and kitchen supply inventory.
Assist Senior Center Program Coordinator in compiling food orders from vendors.
Assist in unloading food and kitchen supply deliveries.
Inventory all donated food items.
Complete all training as required.
All other duties as assigned.
