Clark Contracting Services (CCS) Overview Clark Contracting Services (CCS) is seeking a skilled Senior Estimator to support our Self-Perform Operations team. This role is integral to the success of our projects-leading estimating efforts, supporting preconstruction, and ensuring a seamless transition from bid to execution. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and a proactive approach to driving accuracy, efficiency, and growth. Key Responsibilities Lead full-cycle estimating efforts, including quantity takeoffs, scope development, and bid package assembly Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier pricing Prepare detailed proposals and ensure scope completeness and coordination prior to submission Manage estimating systems and bid documentation (e.g., EDGE, BuildingConnected, bid logs, drawing management) Support project award and turnover, including buyout, budgeting, and subcontract/purchase order drafting Collaborate with operations and field teams to ensure a smooth transition from preconstruction to execution Review estimates for accuracy and mentor junior estimators and support staff Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, best practices, and process enhancements Support business development efforts by building client relationships and contributing to proposals and presentations Qualifications 5+ years of experience in estimating within self-perform or specialty construction Experience with trades such as drywall, acoustical ceilings, carpentry, millwork, flooring, or related scopes Strong knowledge of construction documents, takeoffs, and cost analysis Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience) OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days) Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills CompensationBenefits CCS offers a competitive compensation package including salary based on experience, performance-based bonuses, comprehensive healthcare, 401(k) with company match, mileage reimbursement, paid time off, and a collaborative, values-driven culture.
