- across development and production work. The position partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure compliant, efficient contract formation and execution across varying contract types and customer requirements.
- Role Overview
- The Senior Contracts Manager provides end-to-end
- contract lifecycle leadership
- for multiple programs of varying complexity. You will assess solicitations, shape proposal strategies, negotiate terms, manage contract changes, and support administration through closeout—while ensuring strong customer relationships, compliance, quality, and on-time execution.
- Key Responsibilities
- Contract portfolio support
- : Provide direct contracts support for multiple government, airframe, and commercial contracts across varying types (fixed price, cost reimbursement, prime, subcontract, FAR Part 12/15, development, production).
- Terms and compliance assessment
- : Collaborate cross-functionally to assess and disposition commercial terms and conditions, and interpret
FAR/DFARS
- requirements for solicitations and contracts.
- Lifecycle execution
- : Lead contract activities from solicitation review and proposal strategy through audit support, negotiation, operations/change management, claims/disputes administration, and closeout.
- Leadership and influence
- : Lead functional teams and special projects; regularly advise functional and business leadership with sound recommendations and risk-informed options.
- Judgment and problem solving
- : Apply high levels of judgment to resolve complex issues, drive solutions, and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or execution.
- Continuous improvement
- : Support a culture of compliance, quality, timeliness, and continuous improvement. Stay informed on industry trends that may impact contracting strategy or execution.
- Required Qualifications
- + Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college + Minimum
- 7 years
- of progressively responsible experience in
- government, commercial, or international
- contract formation and execution + Solid domain expertise in
- commercial terms and conditions
- and
- Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- , with emphasis on
- Part 12 (Commercial Items)
- and
- Part 15 (Contracting by Negotiation)
- , plus applicable
- DoD supplements (DFARS)
- + Strong oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal, influencing, and leadership skills + Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems and lead cross-functional teams + Willingness to travel periodically
- Additional Information
- The base pay range for this position is $131,000.
