Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Senior Cyber Project Manager to lead complex cybersecurity initiatives within our organization. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive strategic projects that enhance our security posture, ensure compliance with industry standards, and support enterprise-wide digital transformation efforts. As a key leader, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project lifecycles from inception to delivery, and ensure that all cybersecurity projects align with organizational goals and governance frameworks. Your expertise will help safeguard critical assets, optimize infrastructure, and foster a culture of continuous improvement in cybersecurity practices. Duties Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale cybersecurity projects utilizing Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies. Develop comprehensive project schedules using tools such as Microsoft Project, VersionOne, Jira, and TFS to track progress and ensure timely completion. Coordinate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and deliverables for enterprise software and IT infrastructure projects. Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize disruptions. Oversee the development of test cases, user acceptance testing (UAT), and test-driven development (TDD) processes to validate security solutions before deployment. Facilitate communication across technical teams, executive leadership, vendors, and clients to ensure transparency and alignment on project milestones. Support release management activities including deployment planning, disaster recovery procedures, and post-implementation reviews. Ensure compliance with IT governance standards such as
PMBOK, SDLC
(Software Development Life Cycle), and organizational policies throughout all phases of project execution. Requirements Active Secret Level Clearance. Ten (10) years of experience or equivalent education and experience. Experience entails supporting complex, large-scale projects, to include those with financial investments greater than $10M.
Specialized Experience:
Risk Management Framework (preferred). Microsoft Project (required).
Certifications:
Active PMI or PMP certification required. Must meet DODI 8140.03, Cyber Workforce qualification standards.

Bachelor's Degree (minimum)
