Senior Estimator

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator with a strong background in heavy civil and infrastructure construction projects. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing bid submissions, and supporting preconstruction planning for projects including highways, bridges, utilities, and site development. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, industry knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with project teams to deliver competitive and profitable bids. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid proposals for heavy civil and infrastructure projects. Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents for scope and pricing accuracy. Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, material, and equipment pricing. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes. Identify project risks and support preconstruction planning efforts. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and leadership teams. Mentor junior estimators and support continuous team development. Ensure bids align with company standards, safety requirements, and project goals. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil, infrastructure, or site development projects. Strong understanding of construction methods, civil drawings, and technical specifications. Experience with estimating and takeoff software such as HeavyBid, HCSS, Bluebeam, or Procore. Pay:

$100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
