Local Household Goods Mover/Delivery ( Owner - Operator)

Position overview MUST own or be willing to rent a box truck for this position. Operate a 26' straight truck or commercial vehicle to complete local deliveries of household goods, new furniture, and related items per day. Work as a contractor or owner-operator running primarily daytime, Monday-Friday routes, home every night, with strong earning potential ($100,000-$200,000+ annually for qualified owner-operators). Key responsibilities Safely operate truck and comply with all DOT, state, federal, and company safety and operating regulations. Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain a clean, professional vehicle appearance. Securely pack, wrap, load, and unload furniture and household goods using proper equipment and techniques. Provide white-glove delivery, including in-home placement and basic setup as required by the customer or account. Use electronic inventory and paperwork systems to maintain accurate load, delivery, and inspection records. Communicate frequently with dispatch and move coordinators by phone, text, or email regarding status, schedules, and any service issues. Coordinate and manage labor crews for loading and unloading when needed, ensuring safe, efficient work on-site. Represent the company professionally at all times, resolving customer concerns and ensuring a positive service experience. Qualifications Class A, Class B, or non-CDL driver's license with an acceptable MVR; CDL A preferred for some routes. 2+ years of commercial or similar driving experience preferred, with proven ability to meet tight delivery windows. Strong customer service, communication, scheduling, and basic management skills. Ability and willingness to perform physical labor, including lifting and carrying heavy items and working on stairs. Must pass DOT physical and criminal, MVR, and credit background checks. Owner-operator or ability/interest in acquiring a truck; guidance and financing support available for qualified candidates. Compensation and schedule Contract, full-time opportunities with weekly pay and strong revenue potential based on route volume and performance.
