Job Description

Senior Graphic Designer (Packaging & Brand) We are building a new team to drive a new era of growth across our diverse portfolio, ranging from 100-year-old heritage iconsto new lifestyle brands. If you are excited by the challenge of growing brands built on a solid foundation within the fast-paced world of consumer electronics, we want you on this journey. Role Purpose The Senior Graphic Artist & Packaging Designer is the primary hands-on creative engine of the Marketing Team. The objective is to transition from basic asset production to creating visual assets that make the jump from "looking okay" to "making things sell". This role requires a sophisticated designer capable of mentally pivoting between multiple distinct brand lanes: ranging from premium lifestyle tech and heritage-based audio to high-value consumer electronics—ensuring each brand's unique consumer experience is reflected in its physical and digital presence. Duties and Responsibilities Physical Brand & Packaging Development (Primary Focus)
Retail Package Engineering:
Design and develop product packaging, including boxes, inserts, and labels, from concept through final production, ensuring the out-of-box experience matches specific market positioning for each brand.
Brand Alignment:
Demonstrate a deep understanding of varied consumer profiles, adapting visual language to resonate with luxury, heritage, or value-driven audiences.
Product Communication:
Design and accurately place product features, technical callouts, and legal requirements on physical packaging to communicate quality and functionality.
Sales & Tradeshow Collateral:
Create high-impact physical sales tools, including sell sheets, catalogs, and tradeshow booth materials that assist the sales team in securing premium retail placement.
Support Across Multiple Channels Sales Channel Collaboration:
Provide essential design support for diverse in-store and e-commerce retail channels to assist marketing team members whose primary focus is digital asset creation.
Secondary Digital Support:
Act as a backup and secondary resource for digital design tasks (e.g., social media or landing page content), while remaining the lead on all physical packaging, print, and product design marketing.
Cross-Format Versatility:
Demonstrate high comfort and proficiency in converting Adobe Creative Suite designs (Illustrator, InDesign) into various formats, such as PDF or PowerPoint, to best support the specific needs of the broader team.
AI-Augmented Workflow:
Practical use of tools like Adobe Firefly, Midjourney or similar and the ability to integrate AI into production workflows, not just ideation.
Ancillary Brand Assets:
Manage the design and production of secondary brand materials, such as promotional swag (apparel, pens, hats) and corporate collateral.
Operational Excellence Project Leadership:
Use project management tools to track workflows, review projects for accuracy, and ensure brand integrity while delivering error-free work on tight deadlines.
Content Management:
Organize and manage a comprehensive repository of all product-related marketing content across the entire brand portfolio.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Advanced Adobe Creative Suite:
Mastery of Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign is mandatory.
Technical Versatility:
Highly proficient in the Microsoft 365 (MS365) work environment, with the ability to bridge the gap between creative software and standard business tools (PowerPoint, PDF, etc.).
Cross-Team Collaboration:
Solid team skills and professional maturity to balance input and feedback from multiple stakeholders in different teams while keeping projects on track.
AI Tool Integration:
Must have a basic understanding and regular use of AI tools related to design and productivity. Demonstrated use of AI for rapid concept developmentand project management is highly desirable. 3
D Visualization:
Proficiency in Adobe Dimension or similar 3D rendering tools for packaging visualization is highly preferred.
Print Production Expertise:
Deep understanding of physical print processes, including die-lines, material specifications, and specialty finishes (e.g., spot UV, matte coatings).
Required Education and Experience Education:
College degree preferred in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.
Professional Experience:
3 or more years of professional experience, with a primary emphasis on physical product packaging.
Industry Knowledge:
Experience with consumer electronics or lifestyle brands is highly desirable or you have a deep interest to become very familiar with our products.
Portfolio:
Must provide a portfolio demonstrating high-end design across multiple categories, highlighting an ability to adapt to different brand positions .
Work Environment:
This is a 100% in-office role within the high-energy Marketing Team at our headquarters.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
