mail Tweet Share on Facebook Share on LinkedIn Apply Now > Job Description Description SAIC is seeking an experienced Senior Logistics Analyst to serve as a Subject Matter Expert in logistics operations and asset management. The ideal candidate will oversee equipment readiness, manage inventory, ensure regulatory compliance, handle procurement tasks, and provide backup maintenance support. This role is critical to maintaining operational readiness and ensuring the seamless execution of logistics functions, primarily supporting domestic (CONUS) and OCONUS requirements. In addition, the role may require domestic (CONUS) travel and will be excluded from OCONUS rotations.
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics & Asset Management:
Oversee support management, maintenance, and movement of mission-critical assets, ghost trailer support, and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE). Ensure strict inventory accuracy and implement robust tool control processes.
Compliance & Readiness:
Enforce adherence to logistics policies and procedures. Ensure all equipment, tools, and parts are fully prepared and mission-ready for deployments.
Procurement & Financial Support:
Track logistics-related financial obligations and manage authorized purchasing activities to efficiently fulfill operational requirements.
Travel & Operational Support:
Coordinate travel logistics to facilitate operational mobility. Maintain hands-on maintenance capabilities to serve as a technical backup and support domestic travel (TDY) assignments as needed.
Qualifications Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience; or Associate's degree and experience in the maintenance and/or logistics field.
Technical Expertise:
Proven background in asset management, inventory oversight, deployment readiness, and compliance management.
Travel and TDY Support:
Coordinate travel logistics, including itineraries and expense reports, to facilitate seamless operational mobility.
Financial Acumen:
Demonstrated ability to manage financial tracking and procurement activities.
General Skills:
Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to travel domestically for assignments as required.
