About the Role The Senior Logistics Manager leads logistics operations to ensure the efficient, timely, and cost‑effective movement of materials and finished goods. The role oversees shipping, receiving, freight coordination, and distribution activities, while ensuring inventory is positioned to support production and customer delivery requirements. This position manages logistics teams and external transportation partners, drives on‑time delivery performance, and supports cost control through effective planning, execution, and continuous improvement of logistics processes. What You'll Do Logistics Operations & Distribution Oversight Own logistics performance across inbound and outbound transportation, ensuring reliable, cost‑effective movement of materials and finished goods. Provide oversight of warehouse operations with a focus on inventory positioning, material readiness, and flow to support logistics and delivery commitments. Establish logistics processes and standards that support on‑time delivery, service levels, and operational consistency. Partner with planning, production, and procurement teams to align transportation capacity with demand and inventory requirements. Monitor network performance and identify opportunities to improve transit times, freight utilization, and service reliability. Transportation & Carrier Management Lead transportation planning, routing, and scheduling for domestic and, when applicable, international shipments. Manage relationships with carriers, freight providers, and third‑party logistics partners to ensure service expectations and cost targets are met. Negotiate freight arrangements and support rate management initiatives to control transportation spend. Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, documentation standards, and customer requirements. Track delivery performance, proactively address shipment issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Leadership, Performance & Continuous Improvement Lead and develop logistics and warehouse leaders, setting clear expectations and accountability for performance outcomes. Review logistics KPIs, including on‑time delivery, freight cost, and service metrics, and communicate performance trends to leadership. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on logistics efficiency, cost reduction, and service enhancement. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and operational discipline across logistics and distribution functions. Provide insights and recommendations to leadership based on logistics performance, capacity constraints, and risk factors. Additional Expectation Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy. Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands. Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System. Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred. 6- 10 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution environments. 4
- 6 years of leadership experience managing teams in operations environments.
WMS, ERP
systems, and inventory management tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership, coaching, and team development abilities. Experience managing transportation providers and freight operations. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
