Senior Manager 3D Printing & Digital Inventory Services

We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Senior Manager to build and lead our 3D Printing and Digital Inventory Services division. This role is designed for a hands-on leader who thrives at the intersection of advanced manufacturing, software-driven solutions, and commercial strategy. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for driving innovation in digital inventory systems, enabling on-demand production through cutting-edge 3D printing technologies. You will oversee cross-functional teams, guide technical development, and ensure seamless integration between software platforms and physical production environments. This position is most likely based in the Midwest and will require regular site visits across the US to assess operations, validate processes, and ensure quality and efficiency standards across facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop a high-performing team of programmers, technicians in 3D printing and digital inventory solutions as well as business mindset. Drive innovation in digital inventory services, including software-based storage and on-demand manufacturing models. Conduct site checks and operational assessments to ensure performance, scalability, and compliance. Bridge software and hardware domains, ensuring robust integration of digital inventory platforms with production systems. Oversee the use and development of additive manufacturing technologies across various materials, including metals and polymers as well as various brand of 3D printers. Own commercial outcomes, including P&L responsibility, pricing strategies, and business growth initiatives. Identify new business opportunities and lead go-to-market strategies for digital manufacturing services.

Candidate Profile:

Proven experience as a Team Lead or Manager in additive manufacturing, or digital inventory services. Strong software background, particularly in digital inventory systems or related platforms. Deep expertise in additive manufacturing materials, including metals and polymers, as well as 3D printers. Solid commercial acumen with senior-level business experience, including P&L ownership. Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution Brings a balance of professional maturity and entrepreneurial drive to scale innovative solutions. Willingness to travel frequently for site inspections and operational ov ersight

Pay:

$160,000.00 - $230,000.00 per year
