Primary Purpose The Senior Manager, Clinical Vendor Performance Analytics is the analytical engine of the Clinical Vendor Performance Management team. This role designs and produces the data, dashboards, and analytical narratives that drive vendor performance accountability across Aetna's clinical vendor ecosystem. Primary Duties
    Performance Analytics & Reporting:
    Design, build, and continuously improve vendor performance dashboards, scorecards, and analytical reporting. Produce monthly performance summary and ad hoc analyses for senior stakeholders. Identify trends, outliers, and emerging risks across the vendor portfolio.
      Data Architecture & Tooling:
      Own the analytical tooling stack for the Performance Management team. Partner with enterprise analytics teams to ensure the team has scalable access to vendor performance data. Drive improvements to current systems using all available tools.
        KPI & SLA
        Design:
        Assist in defining meaningful KPIs and SLAs for new and existing vendors. Pressure-test vendor-proposed metrics for analytical rigor and alignment to business outcomes.
          Executive Storytelling Through Data:
          Collaborate with internal analytics and medical economics teams to translate analytical findings into clear, executive-ready narratives. Experience
          • Preferred 5+ years in healthcare analytics, vendor performance analytics, healthcare consulting, or a closely related analytical discipline
          • Demonstrated ability to translate data into executive-ready storytelling. Portfolio examples (slides, dashboards, written narratives) that show clarity, visual craft, and ability to drive a decision.
          • High self-direction and follow-through. Able to take an ambiguous executive ask, structure the problem, and deliver finished work without close oversight.
          • Advanced data and visualization skills required
          • Healthcare claims, clinical, or vendor performance data experience preferred Education
          • Bachelor's Degree required; quantitative discipline preferred (Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Health Informatics, Engineering).
          Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $67,900.00 - $165,954.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
