What You Will Be Doing The Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting oversees the accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls for all compensation- and benefits-related costs, ensuring accurate recognition and disclosure of payroll, incentive compensation, share-based awards, and employee benefits in compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and public company requirements. As a key member of the Corporate Accounting team, this role partners closely with Financial Reporting, HR, Payroll, FP&A, Legal, Internal Audit, and external auditors to support the monthly close, quarterly reporting, and annual audit cycles. The position serves as a subject matter expert for equity and incentive compensation, prepares related financial statement disclosures and benefit plan financials, owns SOX controls, supports forecasting and workforce-related initiatives, and drives process improvements to strengthen accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across the organization What You Bring Bachelor's degree required; CPA strongly preferred Minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a public company or large, complex corporate environment At least two years of experience in a leadership or people-management role Strong technical knowledge of
U.S. GAAP
related to compensation and benefits Experience operating in a SOX-compliant environment, including demonstrated control ownership Proven partnership with Human Resources and Payroll teams Exposure to equity compensation plans and Compensation Committee governance Public accounting experience (Big 4 or national firm) preferred Ability to translate compensation plan design into clear and well-supported accounting conclusions Strong cross-functional communication and influencing skills Proactive approach to risk identification, control enhancement, and process improvement Collaborative, inclusive leadership style #LI-DB1 #LI-Hybrid Our Commitment to You At Acushnet Company, we are committed to helping our associates thrive both personally and professionally. Pay Range:
