Senior Pastor

Overview We are seeking a passionate and inspiring Senior Pastor to lead our faith community with energy, compassion, and clarity. The Senior Pastor will serve as a spiritual leader, mentor, and community builder, ensuring that the church's mission is actively lived out through engaging sermons, meaningful outreach, and supportive programs. Responsibilities Deliver compelling sermons and teachings that inspire faith, hope, and community engagement. Provide pastoral care and support to congregation members facing life challenges such as grief, illness, or personal struggles. Lead church services, prayer meetings, and special events that foster spiritual growth and community involvement. Offer Christian counseling with sensitivity and professionalism to individuals experiencing emotional or spiritual difficulties. Mentor church staff, volunteers, and congregation members to develop their leadership skills and deepen their faith journey. Oversee outreach programs focused on social work, community service, and charitable fundraising efforts. Coordinate event planning for worship services, community events, youth activities, and educational workshops involving children and families. Skills Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate diverse groups within the church community. Excellent communication skills for delivering sermons, counseling sessions, and public speaking engagements. Experience in bereavement support and hospice care to assist families during difficult times. Proven teaching skills in biblical studies or related religious education programs. Ability to organize and manage events effectively while working with volunteers of all ages. Knowledge of Christian counseling principles combined with social work experience when applicable. Demonstrated mentoring capabilities to guide emerging leaders within the church community.
