Job Description At RTX, we are passionate about technology and innovation. We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Windsor Locks, CT. This role is critical in ensuring the successful execution of engineering projects, from conception through to completion. Your responsibilities will include leading engineering projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will also be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
Responsibilities:
Lead engineering projects from concept to completion. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Provide technical guidance and support to team members. Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders. Identify and mitigate project risks. Develop and maintain project documentation. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Support the development of engineering processes and best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. 5+ years of experience in project engineering or management. Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in project management software and tools. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus.
