NEI Electric is dedicated to providing their customers with personalized service and quality craftsmanship. Their customers include a wide range of local businesses, including healthcare, retail, industrial, food processing, education, religious and residential. The primary role of the Senior Project Manager includes, but is not limited to pursuing, negotiating, and managing electrical construction projects while providing overall administrative and technical management of the project, from estimating and bid preparation through completion and closeout. Essential Functions:
Provide initial client contact to assess the scope and resources required to successfully complete the project Prepare a complete estimate with a detailed review of proposal specifications, drawings, takeoff information, contracting, and the like Initiate customer contact through maximizing existing relationships and building new customer relationships Supervise total construction efforts to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. Includes interfacing with client representatives, AE representatives, other contractors, etc. Plan, coordinate, and supervise onsite functions (scheduling, engineering, material control, and may provide day-to-day direction of onsite administrative staff in accounting, purchasing, etc.) Provide technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc., as required Initiate and maintain extra work estimating and issuance of change orders Responsible for jobsite productivity, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project
Required Education and Experience:
Minimum (2) year degree in electrical construction or construction management At Least 8 years of experience as an electrical project manager Commitment to providing superior customer service High-energy, self-motivated team player Must have knowledge of project management, estimating, scheduling, business development, sales, marketing, quality control, and field safety Microsoft office suite, estimating software and computer skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and the ability to multi-task NEI Electric is an equal opportunity employer and offers a competitive salary, benefit package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), profit sharing, flexible spending plan, and PTO.
