Our client is a privately held real estate investment and management firm based in Fairfield, CT, with a large portfolio of multifamily and manufactured housing communities across the Northeast.

Role Overview:

The Senior Director will oversee day‑to‑day property management operations for more than 9,000 units, driving performance, efficiency, and tenant satisfaction. This role offers the opportunity to lead a seasoned team and implement best practices across a diverse, regionally based portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee leasing, maintenance, tenant relations, and financial performance. Lead and mentor property managers and support staff. Develop and refine operational procedures to improve efficiency and service quality. Manage budgets, control expenses, and track performance metrics. Ensure compliance with all housing laws and regulations. Oversee vendor relationships and contract performance.

Qualifications:

7-10+ years in property management, including 3-5 in a senior leadership role. Strong financial and operational management skills. Proven ability to lead distributed teams and optimize performance. Knowledge of housing regulations; Rent Manager experience preferred.
