Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Senior Property Manager to lead our property management team and oversee the daily operations of a diverse portfolio of residential properties. This role is vital in ensuring exceptional tenant experiences, maintaining property standards, and achieving operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in real estate administration, property leasing, and landlord-tenant law, with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance coordination, and tenant relations to ensure high occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction. Manage lease agreements, renewals, and negotiations while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 guidelines. Utilize property management software such as Yardi or RentManager to streamline data entry, rent collection, and reporting processes. Conduct regular property inspections to monitor maintenance needs, safety standards, and overall property condition. Handle legal administrative tasks related to landlord-tenant law, contracts, and eviction proceedings with transparency and professionalism. Resolve conflicts effectively through negotiation and conflict management strategies while maintaining positive relationships with tenants and vendors. Coordinate property maintenance activities using facilities management tools like CRM to ensure timely repairs and upgrades. Maintain accurate records through filing systems, data entry, and administrative documentation for audit readiness. Upsell additional services or amenities to enhance tenant retention and revenue opportunities. Foster excellent customer service by answering inquiries via phone etiquette, managing customer relationships, and ensuring a welcoming environment. Requirements Proven experience in property management with a focus on residential properties; real estate administrative experience is highly preferred. Knowledge of Section 8 programs, Fair Housing regulations, and landlord-tenant law. Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS platforms for facilities management. Excellent negotiation skills coupled with legal administrative experience related to contracts and lease agreements. Demonstrated conflict management abilities with a focus on customer service excellence. Office experience including data entry, filing, phone etiquette, and general administrative tasks. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
