  • Job Summary The Senior Replenishment Analyst - Walmart & Dollar General supports collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment activities for assigned categories across Walmart (including Sam's Club, as applicable) and Dollar General.
This role partners closely with Sales, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Customer Logistics teams to help deliver strong in-stock performance, healthy inventory levels, and improved forecast accuracy. This position is ideal for a highly analytical, customer-facing supply chain professional who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and enjoys turning complex data into actionable insights that support revenue growth and service excellence. Key Responsibilities Replenishment & Customer Support
  • Support day-to-day replenishment activities for Walmart and Dollar General, serving as a key analytical and operational partner to customer replenishment and planning teams
  • Assist in maintaining collaborative forecasts, inventory targets, and replenishment parameters within customer systems, including Walmart CPFR tools
  • Support issue identification and resolution related to in-stocks, inventory imbalances, and supply disruptions Forecasting & Demand Analysis
  • Develop and maintain SKU-level monthly forecasts using POS, shipment history, promotional plans, and lead-time assumptions across a 6-12 month horizon
  • Perform POS vs. shipment analysis to identify forecast bias, trends, and risks, escalating insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders
  • Support continuous improvement of forecast accuracy through improved assumptions, data quality, and analytical methods Inventory & In-Stock Performance
  • Monitor inventory health and in-stock performance, identifying drivers of under- or over-performance
  • Support inventory optimization efforts by analyzing replenishment settings, safety stock, and flow paths
  • Translate data into clear insights and recommended actions to protect service levels and minimize unproductive inventory
  • Promotions, New Items & Business Initiatives
  • Support planning and execution of promotional events, new item launches, distribution expansions, and transitions
  • Conduct pre- and post-promotion analysis to improve future forecasting and replenishment decisions
  • Assist with Walmart modular changes and replenishment-related execution activities Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Sales, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Transportation, and Customer Logistics teams to align assumptions and support execution
  • Participate in weekly demand reviews and customer-facing calls, preparing analysis, materials, and insights
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on customer data, systems, and replenishment processes Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 4-7 years of experience in replenishment, demand planning, or supply chain analytics, preferably supporting large national retailers
  • Experience working with Walmart replenishment or demand planning teams and strong understanding of Walmart business cadence preferred
  • Working knowledge of Walmart systems including Retail Link, Scintilla/Luminate, Nova, and Aspen
  • Strong understanding of bottoms-up forecasting and core demand planning principles
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI, Access, or similar analytical tools preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear, concise communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights to cross-functional partners
  • Experience supporting S&OP or demand review processes preferred
