Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide expert recommendations to enhance their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while maintaining guest satisfaction Serve food and drinks efficiently, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper food handling and kitchen procedures Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest happiness Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting hosts/hostesses as needed to maintain a smooth flow in the restaurant Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, process payments, and manage basic math calculations efficiently Skills Proven experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a welcoming environment Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables and prioritize tasks effectively during busy hours Knowledge of food industry standards including food safety, sanitation, and proper food preparation techniques Previous restaurant experience in fine dining or nightlife settings is highly desirable Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and transaction processing Experience in food service roles such as serving, bussing, or hosting/hostess duties enhances your candidacy Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality where your energy makes every guest feel special!
