The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and offering assistance as needed. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials, to enhance the guest experience. Upsell additional items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and quality standards. Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely delivery. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment. Process payments accurately through cash handling and basic math skills. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus. Familiarity with Toast POS or similar systems is advantageous. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Basic culinary knowledge is beneficial; culinary or kitchen experience is a plus. Understanding of food handling practices, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Experience in upselling techniques within the hospitality industry is desirable.
