Additional benefits include free lunch and use of the golf course on Mondays.
JOB SUMMARY
The Server is the initial person of contact and provides excellent service to members and guests. Therefore, it is essential that team members can handle multiple projects while projecting a warm, and friendly demeanor. The Server is expected to maintain the Club's high standards of excellence for appearance, hospitality and service in personnel and cleanliness in all areas of the Club.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare dining room and event space for members by cleaning and clothing tables, setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, utensils, and any other items as required.
  • Protect establishment and members by adhering to sanitation and safety policies
  • Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed, replenish utensils, refill water glasses, run/deliver food, be alert to member spills or other special needs.
  • Support other wait staff by setting-up and replenishing condiment stands, trash containers liners, and bus stations.
  • Close dining facility by cleaning chairs and tables, sweep and/or vacuum, remove trash and recyclables from the facility.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities.
  • Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
The Server must be a positive and upbeat team-player! A passion for customer service and working in the hospitality industry. EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Previous employment in the hospitality/Club industry or environment
  • Proficient in use of computers including Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to communicate in the predominant language of members and guests
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand; walk; and use hands to handle or feel. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee must have the ability to multi-task and complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
