Server Assistant

Job Summary Our restaurant group owns multiple restaurants in Chattanooga and we have just opened our newest property, Torikaya! Join our team minded group as a Server Assistant and become the heart of an exceptional dining experience! In this active role, you will learn how to deliver outstanding guest service, ensuring food and beverage orders are promptly served, and create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and ability to learn will help elevate every guest interaction. Our chef driven restaurant requires a lot of memorization and the ability to guide the guest experience. You'll be the key to making each visit memorable. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Our Server Assistants are actively training to become servers! Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience Maintain guest table cleanliness and assist servers in ensuring an unforgettable experience Learn our food & beverage menu to become a future server within our team Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage guest seating efficiently and improve flow during busy hours Help buss and reset tables daily to ensure a smooth working environment Experience Prior restaurant experience or food service background is highly preferred, but not necessary as we will train team members Knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS is advantageous Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Must be minimum of 18 years of age to apply to be able to serve alcoholic beverages. Twenty one years of age or older is preferred for dinner service in the future Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in high-pressure situations while delivering excellent customer service Background in hospitality or guest relations roles enhances your ability to connect with guests and create memorable experiences Previous host/hostess or serving experience is a plus, along with familiarity with food industry standards for cleanliness and safety Must be willing to work a minimum of 20hrs per week including weekends Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences! Pay:

$17.00 - $23.00 per hour
