Server (Independent Living)

DESCRIPTION ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. Hold one of four different hats of responsibility, on different shifts as assigned by their supervisor, when on shift on different shifts as assigned by their supervisor: Busser, Food Runner, Serving Tables, Dishwasher, or Expediter.

Busser:

Clear dirty tables, reset tables, address and maintain table and floor cleanliness to standards.

Food Runner:

Run/deliver food from the kitchen to specific table destinations.

Serving Tables:

Serve and tend to assigned tables. Dishwashing Perform established Steps of Service to ensure that each resident and guest receives gracious and efficient service. Practice good time management skills to ensure efficient table turnover. Handles and serves food in accordance with all HAACP guidelines and sanitation standards. May operate cash register and point of sale software. Other roles and responsible as assigned by the Dining Room Manager. This position is an essential worker position. It is required candidates are available to work during inclement weather and other high priority events.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED - preferred Ability to work independently without constant supervision. Interpersonal skills and ability to work on a team. Desire to work with an older population in an Independent Living and Long-Term Care facility.
