Server/Cashier

Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Server/Cashier, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable experiences for our guests! In this dynamic role, you will serve delicious food and beverages, provide exceptional customer service, and handle all cashiering responsibilities with precision. Your ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere will be key to ensuring our guests leave satisfied and eager to return. Whether taking orders, upselling menu items, or managing the POS system, your positive attitude and attention to detail will drive the success of our bustling establishment. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using square POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Handle cash, credit card transactions, and open/close registers with accuracy and integrity Maintain cleanliness of dining areas by bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and assisting with sanitation standards and dining area/restroom cleanliness Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food handling, preparation, and serving processes Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant environments, or hospitality is highly preferred but not necessary. We'll get you up to speed ;) Familiarity with any restaurant POS systems is a plus but we'll train on Square for now Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment (under pressure) while maintaining attention to detail / customer-satisfaction (Don't worry we kick Karen's out!) Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential
