Server/Cashier

Duties Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Toast POS. Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bussing tables and food handling stations. Assist with food prep tasks in the kitchen or café to support smooth operations during busy periods. Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Experience Previous experience in food service, quick service, or fast-food restaurant environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with Toast POS. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking between serving and cashier duties. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Experience working in a retail or grocery store environment involving cashiering, food industry operations, or serving customers is a plus. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications are essential.
