• Automotive Dealership | Full‑Time | Competitive Pay + Benefits About the Role We are seeking a motivated and customer‑focused Service Advisor / Service Writer to join our dealership's service team.

This role requires strong sales ability, excellent customer service skills, and the professionalism to guide customers through the service process from start to finish. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking maintenance and repairs, helping build long‑term relationships through transparency, communication, and trust. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and thrives in a fast‑paced automotive environment. CDK experience preferred. Key Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and serve as the primary point of contact for all service‑related needs Listen attentively to understand customer concerns and vehicle symptoms Write accurate repair orders , documenting issues, recommended repairs, and maintenance procedures Properly tag vehicles, record mileage, and perform walk‑arounds for all service arrivals and loaner returns Communicate recommended services and repairs , using strong sales ability to present value‑based solutions Provide detailed repair estimates , including parts, labor, and warranty considerations Coordinate with technicians to prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion of services Update customers throughout the service process , including approvals, timelines, and status changes Review completed work with customers , ensuring satisfaction and clarity on services performed Assist with warranty claim documentation and ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements Upsell additional services or maintenance based on diagnostics, vehicle condition, and customer needs Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while maintaining excellent customer service Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of automotive diagnostics tools, repair procedures, and dealership service protocols Collaborate with parts and service teams to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer experiences Requirements Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Service Writer, or customer‑facing automotive role preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity across a wide range of automotive systems and repairs Strong sales ability with a proven track record of effective service recommendations Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to explain technical information clearly and professionally Experience writing repair orders; CDK experience preferred Understanding of dealership operations and service workflows Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks Professional, positive, and solutions‑oriented mindset Valid driver's license Benefits Health, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) Life Insurance Paid vacation time
