About the role The Service Center Administrator plays a critical role in supporting daily operations within a fast-paced service environment. This position is responsible for coordinating purchase orders, managing logistics, supporting work order processes, and maintaining accurate system transactions across multiple platforms (Salesforce and SAP). The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable wearing many hats in an unstructured, dynamic setting. Key Responsibilities Order & Procurement Management Process and manage purchase orders (POs) in Salesforce and SAP Receive and review POs for direct materials Create, place, and receive POs for indirect materials Establish vendor terms and maintain supplier communications Logistics & Operations Coordination Arrange transportation and logistics for pumps and related equipment Track materials and ensure timely delivery to support operations Perform receipt transactions and maintain accurate inventory records Work Order & Job Coordination Release, track, and manage work orders throughout the lifecycle Book jobs and ensure accurate scheduling within system tools Maintain status management and provide updates on work order progress Customer & Vendor Interaction Greet and assist customers and vendors in a professional manner Serve as a key point of contact for inquiries related to orders and services Financial & System Transactions Process invoicing activities within SAP Ensure accurate data entry and documentation across all systems Support booking and job costing activities as needed Qualifications Experience coordinating purchase orders and logistics in a service or industrial environment Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems such as SAP and Salesforce Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, unstructured environment Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Key Competencies Adaptability and flexibility ("wear many hats") Strong problem-solving skills Time management and prioritization Attention to detail and accuracy Team-oriented with a customer-first approach Work Environment Fast-paced, operations-focused service center Dynamic and evolving priorities Hands-on role requiring interaction across multiple functions What we offer you 15 days of paid time off and 12 company-paid holidays 401k plan with a 6% match Comprehensive health plan including medical, dental, vision, Life, short-term & long-term disability Motivating wellness program Employee Assistance Program Paid paternal leave Gym re-imbursement Sulzer is an equal opportunity employer.
