Overview:

Department Overview (Text Only): Provides administrative leadership in collaboration with clinical chiefs, nursing and executive management teams to fulfill day to day system requirements and network strategic initiatives. Accountable for administrative and operational results with responsibility of strategic planning, clinical operations, financial and human resource management, program development, management and promotion, and practitioner recruitment and retention. Initiates or is assigned responsibility for managing operating system tactical projects to advance departmental and organizational goals. Access and review the organizational structure to position the departments to pursue the mission, vision and network strategic objectives. This role covers Women's Health, Pediatrics, Behavioral Health, and the Northern Region's Primary Care Service Lines.Responsibilities:
Financial Resource Management Plans, develops and implements the operational budget and assumes accountability to report variances and manage budgets. Ensures that all departmental capital and operating budgets are developed in a timely and accurate manner. Ensures that budgets link effectively to the corporate strategic and annual operating plans. Monthly financial analyses are available to dyad chief and executive leaders Ensures special funds accounts are utilized according to policy. Monitors accomplishment of agreed upon objectives at the departmental level; and where appropriate, institutes corrective actions, including reallocating resources, reprioritizing, and/or recommending modifications to established plans. Develops service improvements, management systems, expense control programs etc. to ensure achievement of financial objectives. Negotiate annual budgets to maximize financial support for applicable programs. Ensures compliance with reimbursement regulations and provides information to maximize reimbursement funding. Clinical Oversight (if applicable) Accountability Prepares a range of written reports relating to department and committee reporting Accepts responsibility for providing a Just Culture. Conducts self in manner to achieve results in ways consistent with the organizational values and provides a constructive example for others to do likewise. Fosters quality/cost accountability and systematic outcomes/improvements. Assures progress of projects and committee activities. Creates, develops and implements patient care indicators/strategies to enhance patient care and patient satisfaction. Develops implements and evaluates network policies and procedures to ensure compliance with requirements of regulatory bodies Responds promptly when service expectations have not been met Proactively identifies potential and actual safety issues Adheres to network policies and procedures at all times. Participates in community service and education programs that will enhance the delivery of quality patient care throughout the community as well as the hospital's image. Establishes and /or staffs teams for the development of the annual department plan in alignment with the AOP Maintains quality levels and standards as they relate to providing direct and indirect patient care. Maintains and respects the confidentiality of any patient employee and/or any other sensitive information. Human Resource Management (Daily) 20%Qualifications:
Education Bachelor's Degree -or- 2 year associate's in healthcare with 2 additional years of management level experience, required. Experience 5 years of Management/Leadership experience, required 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, required Experience in an Ambulatory setting, required License/Certification Valid Driver's license, required CMPE or ACHE certification, preferredTotal Rewards:
