As a skilled sonographer, you'll join a forward-thinking team dedicated to delivering high-quality general and vascular ultrasound services within an IAC-accredited Non-Invasive Vascular Lab setting. Working here not only allows you to broaden your technical expertise through exposure to advanced diagnostic studies and specialized interventional radiology cases, but it also gives you invaluable insight into a range of workplace practices and collaborative leadership styles. Assignments often extend to various hospital sites, outpatient clinics, and outreach centers, strengthening your resume with diverse case exposures and professional networks. Schedule & Hours Rotating call schedule shared among five technicians for well-balanced coverage: 1 weekday evening on-call every other week 1 weekend on-call approximately every fifth week Occasional travel to nearby locations for additional clinical experience Qualifications ARDMS certification required Advanced proficiency in: Upper/lower extremity venous and arterial duplex studies Carotid, bypass graft, mesenteric, and renal artery duplex studies Upper/lower extremity vein mapping, fistula flow, and venous reflux studies Broad experience in IAC-accredited vascular lab settings (RVT certification preferred) Strong independent technical skills and high competency across the spectrum of general/vascular sonography Responsibilities Perform a comprehensive array of vascular and general ultrasound exams Contribute to an exceptional patient care environment within an accredited sonography department Participate in on-call rotations and provide support at multiple care settings as needed Maintain meticulous sonographic records for clinical assessment and compliance Benefits & Travel Perks Tax-advantaged travel stipends Expert travel assistance and premium compensation packages Comprehensive healthcare benefits and 401(k) options Job security and opportunities for ongoing learning Enhance your career while enjoying the pleasures of a renowned New York locale Expand your professional repertoire while exploring all that Cooperstown has to offer.
